Maintenance Engineer - Nights
A Nottingham based manufacturing company are looking to recruit multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to work on a permanent Night shift at their modern food production facility based in South Nottingham.
As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
Role:
- Multi skilled, electrically biased or a mechanical engineer with strong electrical skills
- 3 on 3 off shifts – Nights (12 hour shifts 6pm - 6am)
- Opportunity to work in a modern manufacturer
Benefits:
- Salary of c£50k - £55k (Dependent on experience)

Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
- Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
- Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
- Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
- Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
- Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
- Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC level
- Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
- Manufacturing / production experience required
