This company was established in 1971 and are one of the top chemical milling and sheet metal forming companies supplying into aerospace and defence, medical, optical and communications. Fabricating a variety of metals they also do bespoke laser cuttings and metal stampings. They have an exceptional family feel with everyone dedicated to development and growth on an individual and company basis.

The role will involve working on a mixture of machines such as laser cutters, chemical millers and metal presses as well as general ADHOC maintenance when needed - the role offers a lot of variety and will require a wide repertoire of knowledge.

This would suit an ambitious maintenance engineer who aspires to be challenged in a varied role and progress personally and professionally being supported by a company who desires to extract the best out of all of their employees.

The Role:

• Maintain and inspect plant equipment following the preventative maintenance schedule
• Installation of new plant equipment around the facility
• Overseeing work completed by contractors keeping to deadlines and internal / external regulations
• Communicate maintenance schedules effectively to relevant maintenance staff
• Identify opportunities for improvement of new and existing maintenance
• Take on reactive / emergency maintenance when needed
• Monday to Friday with optional work occasionally required on a Saturday

The Person:

• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to fault find PLC's
