Maintenance Electrician - DAYS

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Doncaster

Shifts: Days (option to work a 4 or 5 day week)

Salary: Circa £38,000 per annum

Metalis is working with a company based worldwide, for their packaging manufacturing site in Doncaster. The role will involve maintaining and repairing electrical systems on site, including building services and production.

Job Role:

• To carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of equipment including 3 phase electrical systems, AC/DC and inverter drives.
• Respond to breakdowns in an efficient manner in order to reduce machine downtime and increase productivity.
• General instrumentation activities and small electrical installations.
• Read electrical drawings and schematics.
• General factory electrical maintenance.
• PLC programming, although not essential as training will be given.

Job Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in a relevant electrical discipline.
• Experience working on the above-mentioned systems.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Support a 24/7 process including out of hours support when necessary.
