Contract: Full time, permanent

Hours: You will be working a 42.5hr week.

About Our Client:

Our client is a growing residential property maintenance business focusing on cleaning and gardening. They are a small, dedicated team, who pride themselves for delivering top, industry-standard quality of works, with a highly personal and friendly service.

They are looking to bring their range of cleaning, gardening, and maintenance services in house.

This is a field-based role which involves visiting different sites around the areas they cover, carrying out a range of tasks.

The current area they cover is London and the Home Counties but may cover more area with expansion of the business.

As the Building Maintenance Assistant, you will:

  • Be a team of two
  • The team will be supplied with a van and all tools required to the do the job in hand
  • Clean communal areas
  • Assist with gardening and landscaping
  • Change light bulbs.
  • Fix stair treads.
  • Door closer adjustments.
  • Use appropriate lifting, carrying, and transporting techniques for heavy or difficult items.

It is essential that you:

  • Are highly organised.
  • Have a flexible attitude, being adaptable to changes and great time management/organisation skills.
  • Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Have accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Are self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Are fluent in English both written and verbally.
  • Hold a Full clean driving license and can drive a manual transmission van.
