Maintenance Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to work for an NHS Trust, based in Bradford. The role is working full time, initially for a 6 month period with the probability of extension. You would be working Mon-Fri, general office hours with the right candidate starting ASAP.

The main duties will reverberate around carrying out PPM tasks on different sites within the Trust. This will involve:

• Testing fire alarms.
• Carrying out checks on emergency lighting, alarm systems and generators.
• Undertaking PAT tests.
• Getting legionella samples.
• Completing relevant documentation.
• Helping with gritting, snow clearing and clearing of blockages.
• Doing minor plumbing and joinery repairs.
• Carrying out redecorations inc stripping, painting, plastering etc.

The ideal candidate will have undertaken a similar role previously. However, if you have relevant educational qualifications, can start ASAP and are open to learning, then do not hesitate to apply by using the online facility available.
