Overview

This is a great opportunity for an Editor or a Senior Reporter/Assistant Editor to join a well-established B2B Magazine Publisher. You will be leading B2B media portfolios across print and digital platforms and our client may also consider less experienced candidates with some B2B editorial experience to develop up into this role. This role may be offered on a hybrid basis if preferred and with opportunity for international travel to trade events and press briefings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the layout, appearance and content of articles and news across print and digital media channels

  • Planning the editorial schedule, writing, editing and commissioning copy for freelance writers.

  • Generating ideas for features with the editorial and advertising teams. Proofreading all editorial pages before going to press.

  • Working closely with the advertising sales team to help grow the title’s portfolio via new and existing revenue streams.

  • Producing concise and accurate copy according to the Company's house style and to strict deadlines.

  • Creating news and video content for the Company’s digital channels.

Requirements

  • A solid background in B2B publishing is needed - you may potentially be working in publishing, editorial, b2b PR

  • Any technical publications could be a good match, although our client is open to other b2b options such as healthcare or leisure etc.

  • A track record of hitting deadlines and successful innovation in print and digital media.
