As a Machine Shop Operative for our client your duties will include;

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery
  • Responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained

The successful Machine Shop Operative will require;

  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with minimal supervision
  • Experience operating manual drills, milling machines and manual lathes
  • Comfortable working on one off pieces and other small batch work
  • The ability to use measuring equipment

  • Over time available (Basic Hours: 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on a Friday)

The opportunity is available for the right candidate to expand their own skill set, and progress to a position utilising our CNC mill and lathe capabilities.
