My client based in Poole are looking to recruit a Machine Operator/FLT to operate machinery producing metal and also drive a forklift to load the machines with products. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm paying £12.00ph.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate flatbed Circular Saw cutting Aluminium Plate from 6 mm to 200mm in thickness.
  • Work out best Cutting Plan to achieve best yield and minimum scrap.
  • Ideally with a FLT licence to load the Saw with material to cut, but not essential as training can be given.
  • Endorse paperwork for completed order.
  • Pack order onto pallet and shrink-wrap.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous Production experience
  • Previous machine operating experience
  • FLT Desirable
