Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Wellington, Somerset
Salary: Rotating shifts (you will start on £12.57 and once trained on one machine this will rise to £13.82 then once trained on all machines will rise again to £16.27) Night shifts ( you will start on £13.82 once trained on one machine your pay will rise to £15.20 and then once trained on all machines this will rise to £17.90)
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm rotating shifts, Nights Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am.

Our well established client in Wellington have an exciting opportunity for machine operators to join their business on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Machine Operator duties will include:

  • Demonstrate competence in timely machine setup, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency's by working effectively as part of a team.
  • Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.

Essential requirements:

  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A willingness to undertake manual work
  • Be hard-working and reliable
  • Be a good timekeeper
  • Have machine operator experience (although this is not essential as training will be given)
  • Be a good team player with a positive attitude to work.
