Machine Operator

£35,000 plus benefits package and overtime at higher rates

Working for a clean, ambient and fully automated manufacturing facility in the Huntingdon area, your role of Production Machine Operator will be to work 

within the manufacturing production team on a day-to-day basis, championing their standards and values and participating in all aspects of the manufacture, machine operating and general production work to make high quality products.


The Machine Operator will have:

  • Knowledge of volume manufacturing processes gained in a factory environment
  • Experience of running and operating machinery
  • Experience of managing quality systems and outputs
  • Tightest quality control over material usage and wastage
  • Knowledge of working to production targets and priorities


The Machine Operator will:

  • Have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, able to develop and implement creative and inventive solutions to problems
  • High level of personal ownership of tasks to completion, with a willingness to "go the extra mile"
  • Reliable, honest, trustworthy, team-player, with a willingness to offer support and assistance to colleagues and the team

Hours of work for the Machine Operator

3 shift Rotation system

  • Lates Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
  • Earlies Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm
  • Nights Sunday to Thursday / 10pm to 6am
