Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation in Clitheroe, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Machine Operator on a full-time basis! ????

?? £12.43 to £14.30 per hour

?? Ongoing contract starting on April 8th, 2024

?? Conveniently located 18 minutes walk from Clitheroe train station

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the throughput on the machines and ensuring output targets are met while upholding quality standards and safety practises. ???? You'll also have the opportunity to provide temporary cover for colleagues who need to step away from their machines, ensuring continuous operation.

???? Responsibilities:

• Loading strip as required
• Oiling presses with correct lubricant
• Sorting, cleaning, and packing components to meet production and customer requirements
• Preparing packing materials
• Ensuring batch integrity and correct labelling
• Carrying out line clearance procedures
• Performing basic maintenance procedures, such as weekly machine clean downs
• Liaising with maintenance to address machine problems
• Recording press readings on statistical process charts
• Completing compliance and cGMP documentation
• Supporting trainees and colleagues in all departments as needed
• Responding positively and prioritising requirements
