Machine Operator

Swale

Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, rotating shift patterns – 6am – 2pm then 2pm – 10pm

£11.21ph + overtime + progression (opportunity to increase earnings)

We are looking for a switched on Machine Operator to join our client, a growing business based within the Swale area.

Within this busy food production role, you will be:

  • Working in a busy food production environment, working to production targets
  • Working in a variety of temperatures season dependent.
  • Using large scale machinery safely within the factory.
  • Following Production Plans accurately to produce the correct formulation of the recipe.
  • Keeping accurate records using an online iPad scanning system.
  • Any other duties required.

To be considered for this role you will have/be:

  • Some experience using machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Worked within a food production environment
  • A valid driving licence and own transport due to rural location.
  • The ability to read, understand and speak English to an intermediate level as a minimum
  • Physically fit and able to work in a role where you are on your feet for a number of hours – this is essential due to the nature of the role
  • Flexible with working hours Monday – Friday and happy to undertake overtime
