Machine Operative
Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for Machine Operators to work with one of their well-established clients in the Crumlin area.
Role duties:
* Inspection and packaging of various plastic goods
* A high level of concentration to ensure consistency and fault monitoring
* If required, machines could be operated on a semi-automatic basis
* Manual handling to include, stacking pallets, wrapping and moving pallets on pallet trolleys
* General cleaning around workstation.
* Some products may require the use of a cleaning solvent to clean mouldings
* Responsible to fulfil and comply with the company health and safety policies
* Responsible for running more than one machine (when trained)
Essential requirements:
* Previous experience working in factory environment or a similar role
* Injection Moulding experience proffered
* Own transport due to location
* To provide own safety boots (hi-vis will be provided)
Working hours:
* Continentals
* 4 on 4 off
* 12-hour shifts
* Overtime paid at both 125% and 150%
* You will start training on a day shift then will follow on a 2 day 2 night shift pattern
Pay: £11.69 per hour, plus £45 attendance bonus for attending all requested hours.
