We are currently looking to recruit Mill Operatives to work with our Manufacturing client who is based on the outskirts of Ashford, on a full-time temporary to permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business that is one of the leaders within their market and offers an excellent package for its staff.

You will be working Monday - Thursday, 8 am - 5.45 pm & Friday, 8 am - 4.15 pm (This may be flexible) for an hourly rate of £11.93.

Due to the remote location, own transport will be required.

Duties and responsibilities for the role of Assembly Operative

• Work with Chop saws, Pull saws and push saws
• Reading measurements
• Use different hand tools including tape measures, drills, nail guns and screw drivers
• Operating various machinery
• You will be able to follow direction well and demonstrate a good eye to detail

Skills required for the role of Assembly Operative

• Must be able to work in a continuous environment
• Must be able to lift heavy items including bending
• Must have used power tools previously
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE including dusk masks
• Must be able to work in a physical role
