Mac Support Engineer

Central London - with working from home

£35,000 - £37,000 plus benefits and package (including paying for certifications).

A growing IT company based in central London are looking to hire a Mac Support Engineer.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to progress, develop and be an important part of their growing business. There is also the opportunity for you to have a more senior role in the future as you grow your career within the company. A key thing this company can offer the right candidate, is the support to gain further professional certifications with your progression.

It is important in this Mac Support Engineer role that you have experience dealing with typical troubleshooting issues, similar to that of 1st and 2nd line issues, that may arise across Apple macOS and Mac OS X operating systems.

The Hiring Manager is looking for a Mac Support Engineer who has covered a variety of tools like Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect & Deepfreeze. As well as Microsoft 365, Teams & Google Workspace would be beneficial.

It’s a role where you will be working with different clients and problem solving each day.

They are looking to see that you are a team-player that wants to come up with new ideas & continuously learn.

Technical experience needed in this Mac Support Engineer role:

  • Previous experience in a Technical Support position, similar to that of 1st or 2nd line.

  • Experience working with Jamf & Apple products.

  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 & Windows.

  • Experience troubleshooting.

  • Basic scripting tool knowledge.

  • Great communication skills & customer-facing skills.

The company operate a hybrid working model with most days working in the office. Also, there are other benefits included such as the company will pay for your certifications.
