ANT YAPI (UK) , as a Principal Contractor , is looking to recruit a Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor (M&E QS) to provide full support to Commercial and Pre -construction Team .

The Role

Tender management , getting tenders from subcontractors, evaluation, comparison ,reporting.

Sub-contract negotiation and letting

Post tender negotiations to take a bid to contract status.

Assisting ,preparation, coordination of subcontract documentation

Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and/or sub-contractors in coordination with Contract Manager

Carry out take-offs for procurement and verification subcontractor’s quotations, variations.

Assisting in preparation and submission of interim valuations

Manage ,assess and value subcontractor variations.

Manage and value of Client’s Instructions

Agreement and certification of sub-contractors’ interim valuations and final accounts

Preparation and submission of subcontractor’s and Client’s final account

Cost value reconciliation and ongoing project reporting

Programme management and evaluation of ME Part of the projects

Assess in conjunction with engineering, drawings produced to assist in the identification of variations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying ,Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to work as part of a team supporting both the operational team
  • Flexibility about working across all areas of the business
  • Enterprising, commercial, and planned approach

Experience:

  • Surveying or Engineering : at least 5 years (preferred)
  • Work Location: In person, London Head Office , Various Project Locations in London
