M&A Associate Director

Warner Scott are currently partnered with a mid market accounting firm who are looking to add an Associate Director or Director to their sector generalist M&A team, who will play a pivotal role for the foreseeable.

There is tangible potential for development moving forward due to likely internal progressions with more senior members in the team in the near future. With this in mind, this is an excellent opportunity that provides more responsibility, ownership, and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as main point of contact for clients and as their trusted advisor
- Take part in growing and developing the team over time
- Involvement in a wide range of transactions, taking full ownership of simpler transactions
- Ensuring every assessment is in accordance with the professional and ethical standards of the firm
- Supervising and reviewing work of junior team members, and provide feedback/support
- Conduct comprehensive industry and market research to identify potential M&A opportunities and trends.
- Analyse financial data, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes to assess the strategic fit and potential risks of transactions.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Strong experience in a corporate finance environment - delivering disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings
* Willingness to lead on as much as possible with support from the team
* Managerial experience developing more junior members of the team
