Midday Assistants required to join the team of a Havering School in providing a safe and happy lunchtime for their pupils.

This Midday Assistant role would be perfect for someone wanting to gain further experience within a school setting.

To start as soon as possible - Monday - Friday, 12.30pm - 1.30pm Term time only

Hourly pay with additional holiday pay

Midday Assistant Role:

  • Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
  • To be mindful of any pupils dietary requirements and ensure they are adhered to accordingly.
  • To supervise the pupils whilst eating at meal times and during their playground play.
  • To monitor the behaviour of pupils, discouraging any negative behaviour in a positive way and ensuring any incidents are reported as appropriate.
