Loss adjuster / Large Loss Claims / Complex Claims

Job Description:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Large Loss Claims professional to join our team in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large loss claims, assessing damages, and overseeing the claims process. The Large Loss Claims professional will work closely with insurance adjusters, policyholders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and evaluate large loss claims to determine coverage and liability
Conduct on-site inspections and damage assessments
Review policy information and documentation to process claims accurately
Communicate with policyholders, insurance adjusters, and contractors throughout the claims process
Negotiate settlements and manage claims payments
Coordinate repair and restoration efforts with contractors and vendors
Maintain detailed records of claim activities and updates
Requirements:
Previous experience in handling large loss claims in the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims procedures
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a caseload of claims efficiently and independently
Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to claim sites
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum plus car allowance of £4,800
Location: Hampshire (SO16 2JE)
