Long Only Investment Analyst - DM High Yield Credit- London

Our client, a £30bn Asset Manager are looking to expand their Fixed Income team with the addition of an Investment Analyst to cover high yield bonds and related securities across developed markets.

You will enjoy significant autonomy in devising strategies for credit selection and management, therefore a proactive attitude along robust communication and interpersonal abilities are essential. Your expertise will be pivotal in assessing credit risk, pinpointing investment prospects, and offering insightful guidance to enhance portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and analyse new investment ideas, either independently or as directed by the Fund Manager, with recommendations for purchase as appropriate.
• Work closely within the team, actively participating in conversations surrounding the positioning of the groups High Yield offering.
• Monitor existing investment ideas, with recommendations to hold or sell as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other investment teams to ensure a sharing of knowledge and insights.

Requirements:

• Between 3 to 7 years’ credit experience, covering DM High Yield products.
• Comfortable covering a wide variety of credits, across ratings, sectors, and geographies.
• Willing to contribute to wider discussions on credits not under coverage and broader market strategy.
• Self-sufficient in the generation of new trading ideas.
