UBT Recruitment are working with well-established SME based in Harrow. They are seeking an experienced Logistics Support Coordinator to join their team and work closely with the Logistics & Transport Manager to ensure the warehouse and logistics function is streamlined and effective. You will play a pivotal role in being the main point of contact and will be accountable for the effective management of logistic operations.

Responsibilities of a Logistics Support Coordinator:

  • Ensure containers and road trucks for all customers are organised for delivery on time.
  • Monitor and escalate issues (internal or external) with feedback from suppliers and customers on challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Planning and Production to deliver world class OTIF. Scheduling safe inbound and outbound deliveries while liaising with suppliers and customers.
  • Route monitoring and planning of vehicle movements for streamlined site utilisation.
  • Responsible for the smooth running of a busy operational warehouses in line with Management instruction.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a logistics coordinator
  • Proficient in logistics software such as ERP systems and MS Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to form, maintain and enhance strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple processes
