Job Title: Logistics Project Manager - 12 month FTC

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £70,000 + package

We are partnered with a fast-growing Retailer that are moving their warehouse to the West Midlands. This person will be tasked with ensuring the centralisation of the warehouse operations comes in on time and within budget. You will need to manage many project/programme workstreams with support from an administrative team.

Main Duties and Accountabilities

• Development of the approach for delivery of the programme engaging with workstream and functional leads across multiple departments
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities
• Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership
• Manage project scope and changes
• Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, objectives, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Identify project resource needs, allocate resources, and ensure that team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Liaise with and co-ordinate colleagues across the organisation to ensure successful delivery of agreed workstreams
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status to ensure project stays within budget
• Manage 3rd party providers and partners, to ensure they deliver on time, within budget and meet project requirements.
• Maintain and manage project RAID logs
• Provide regular communication of project status, ensuring project milestones and stage gates/checkpoints are defined and met
• Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment and working independently if required.
