We are currently leading the search for a highly organised and driven individual, with an exceptional eye for detail and strong Excel skills, to join a fast-paced and fast-growing Operations team based in Central London.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assists Head of Operations in daily departmental operations.
  • Manages stockmovement between warehouses and bottling halls, liaising with hauliers.
  • Coordinates with warehouses for regauges, movements, and stock inventory reports.
  • Leads bottling projects in collaboration with Sales Manager, ensuring correct labeling, bottling, and shipping.
  • Ensures proper shipment of bottling projects with necessary certificates and documents.
  • Supports preparation and analysis of spreadsheets for Operations and Accounts.
  • Manages warehouse reconciliation, rent invoicing, and biannual stock takes.
  • Utilizes couriers and handles customs issues for global shipping.
  • Maintains and updates online systems and procedures.
  • Handles general administrative tasks such as document filing, invoice re-charging, and office supplies inventory.
  • Assists in event organizing and attends events outside regular office hours.
  • Provides support to Directors, Head of Operations, Accounts, and Sales Staff as needed.
  • Receives guidance and on-the-job support in learning about whisky and the whisky cask business.

Your Profile

  • Essential: Operations and Logistics experience, high level of IT skills (Google Drive, Microsoft Excel & Word), basic numeracy skills.
  • Desired: Organizational skills, quick learner, focused, motivated, proactive, good interpersonal skills, able to take instruction, able to work in a team environment,
  • Basic knowledge of and interest in whisky would be ideal, but not essential
