Duties

Organising Shipments:

Coordinating the movement of goods from point A to point B.

Deciding on packing methods, transportation modes, and optimal routes.

Negotiating with Carriers:

Engaging in negotiations with carriers (such as shipping companies).

Booking cargo space and handling payment arrangements.

Customs Clearance:

Managing customs clearance procedures.

Ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork.

Transport Documents and Insurance:

Handling transport documents.

Managing insurance paperwork to comply with regulations and mitigate risks.

Real-Time Shipment Monitoring:

Monitoring and communicating real-time shipment status to clients and relevant parties.

Responsibilities:

Liaising with logistics colleagues and Warehouse to ensure client requirements are met

Ensuring accurate information is provided to our clients regarding their material and shipments

Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders
