Logistics Coordinator

Uniserve, a leading logistics and freight forwarding company, is seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. In this entry-level role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.

What you'll do:

• Book new jobs accurately and promptly in our Freight Management System.
• Manage all shipping documentation meticulously, ensuring timely completion.
• Monitor shipments and maintain clear communication with all parties involved.
• Update company systems with precision and guarantee all paperwork is complete.
• Liaise effectively with airlines, carriers, freight forwarders, and handling agents.
• Utilize group services to optimize logistics processes.
• Create accurate Import/Export declarations for HM Customs.
• Provide customers with prompt and informative shipment updates.
• Organize customer goods delivery within company credit policy.
• Generate invoices following company credit control procedures.
• Address customer and overseas partner inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Support team members as needed.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and suppliers.

What you'll bring:

• Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Previous experience in logistics coordination or freight forwarding is a plus, but not essential. Familiarity with Freight Management Systems and Import/Export procedures is desirable.
