Hrgo are looking for a Logistics Night Shift Coordinator , for a busy freight company in Dover. Ideally candidates will have some logistics experience and the successful candidate will plan and manage time-critical logistics solutions throughout Europe and worldwide, operating with strict time constraints and ensuring all schedules and deadlines are met.

Duties entail, monitoring live, urgent transport movements; keeping clients informed of shipment progress; and maintaining a bespoke transport management system, in line with company procedures. You must be organised, reliable and be able to work in a busy environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Team Leader to ensure best practice.

  • Have a good understanding of European driving regulations and bans, and the impact they may have on transport planning.

  • Escalate delays in transport and identified problems to the Team Leader, provide options for a resolution to allow effective communication with the client.

  • Work closely with our supplier management team to highlight any gaps in carrier coverage & maintain excellent relationships with our carriers.

  • Ensure carrier non-conformances are recorded and escalated as per the agreed quality process.

Salary is £28000 DOE, plus benefits .

Hours are 12-hour shifts , working on a 4 on 4 off basis , 7.00 pm - 7.00am.
