Job Specification: Export Logistics Coordinator/ Customer Service Representative
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £37,000 - £41,000

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Export Logistics Coordinator/ Customer Service Representative for a leading SPCC manufacturer. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless order processing and logistical planning, supporting the sales team, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in logistics systems Oracle, Salesforce and Excel, and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end order process, including receipt, processing, and delivery on Oracle
  • Resolve issues promptly and efficiently, demonstrating effective problem-solving skills.
  • Coordinate logistical processing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process order confirmations, transport orders, and necessary documentation.
  • Generate accurate invoices and credit notes.
  • Negotiate competitive rates and source quotes from haulers.
  • Analyse work processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and complete required training.
  • Demonstrate proactive behaviour and commercial acumen.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel and logistics systems.
  • Strong teamwork skills with flexibility to meet customer requirements.
  • International outlook with understanding of cultural differences.
  • Effective management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with high energy level.

Experience & Education:
  • Significant experience in customer-facing administration roles.
  • Previous logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Good standard of general education, including English and Mathematics.
  • Experience with databases and ordering systems preferred.
  • Experience in international companies with European locations advantageous.

Working Relationships:
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and Logistics Managers globally.
  • Work closely with colleagues in CSR roles.
  • Interact with Sales, Operations, Customers, Haulers, and Suppliers.
