Logistics Assistant

London, W3

£27,500 + Pension + Parking

A very successful local organisation are currently expanding and require a Logistics Assistant to join their export team and arrange client freight requirements.

Some of your duties will include:

- Co-ordinating the shipment of goods by air to locations throughout the world

- Providing an operational service to meet the needs of customers in a cost effective manner

- Setting up details of good to be transported and designation on the computer system

- Liaising with couriers in order to obtain the best possible transportation costs

- Collating transport costs and providing detailed quotations for clients

- Issuing airway bills and documentation required for Customs Clearance
