Location: Devon
Salary: £35,000 per annum DOE + company vehicle
Overview:
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage daily schedules, collect insulation materials, and conduct risk assessments.
- Install loft insulation, fit eave trays, raised storage boards, and remove pre-existing insulation.
- Communicate issues to the Install manager and maintain exceptional customer service.
- Ensure completion of necessary documentation and post-installation evidence / photographs is supplied correctly and on time.
- Adhere to industry and company quality standards for all work.
- Maintain safety protocols, including van, ladder, and PPE checks,
- Complete draft-proofing to loft hatches.
- Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete insulation projects- Work with a team to complete projects within specified deadlines
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in insulation installation.
- Knowledge of insulation materials and their applications
- Must hold NVQ 2 In loft insulation or working towards
- Advantage if the candidate holds NVQ 2 in Cavity wall Insulation / extraction or has experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
