Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled CT3 Psychiatry doctor to join our team at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, based in the vibrant area of Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in psychiatry within a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities: 1. Provide high-quality care to patients with psychiatric disorders in the acute setting. 2. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans. 3. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic care for patients. 4. Participate in ward rounds, case conferences, and clinical meetings. 5. Supervise and support junior medical staff, including Foundation Year doctors and medical students. 6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans. 7. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by participating in training, educational activities, and clinical audits. 8. Adhere to Trust policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and ethical guidelines. Requirements: 1. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a license to practice. 2. Completion of Foundation Training and Core Psychiatry Training (CT1/2). 3. Relevant experience in psychiatry, preferably within an acute setting. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. 5. Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care and clinical excellence. 6. Eligibility to work in the UK.
