Birchrose Associates have partnered with a reputable law firm in the Northeast seeking a Locum Family Solicitor to start a role from May for 3 months +.

The Opportunity

Our client, a reputable, friendly practice is seeking a Locum Family Solicitor to assist until a new permanent person starts in the team. The ideal candidate will have availability to start a new role in May 2024 and will be on hand to assist for 3 months in duration.

This is a part-time role, working 3 or 4 days per week and the firm are happy to offer the role on a hybrid working basis, with 2 days per week in the office and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities

The Locum would assume responsibility for covering a varied private family caseload. Duties to include:

  • Children matters
  • Divorce
  • Financial matters
  • Prenuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements

  • Experience dealing with private family caseloads
  • Ability to hit the ground running, be it on an office or hybrid working basis
