Locum Consultant CAMHS Psychiatrist

Compliance Requirements:
- DBS check
- Occupational Health Clearance (proof of immunity to Hepatitis B, Measles, and Rubella)
- Right to work in the UK – Passport/Visa
- Completion of Mandatory Training
- Submission of Qualification Certificates
Additional Requirements:
- Must hold GMC Licence to Practice
- Right to work in the UK with a minimum of 6 months UK experience
- AC Status and Section 12 approval (Desirable)
- Previous experience working as a Consultant Psychiatrist within CAMHS services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, adolescents, and their families
- Commitment to delivering evidence-based care and support to children and adolescents with mental health needs
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of a dynamic clinical environment

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and provide diagnosis and treatment to children and adolescents with mental health disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and coordinated care delivery
- Offer consultation and support to primary care providers, schools, and community agencies involved in the care of children and adolescents with mental health needs
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children and adolescents with mental health disorders, promoting early intervention and prevention strategies
- Participate in clinical governance activities to maintain high standards of care and service delivery
