Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – West Midlands – Initial 6 Months Contract – Remote Working – Full Time

Venn Group Recruitment are seeking a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a West Midlands based Local Authority.

Position: Locum Commercial Contracts and Property Lawyer

Location: West Midlands

Duration: 3-6 months initial contract with the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: This is a flexible position where the appointed candidate can work remotely, hybrid or fully office based. It is entirely down to personal preference

Hourly Rate: Dependent on Experience

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience within Commercial Property, ideally within Local Government.

For this role it is essential that you have experience handling your own caseload.

Duties for this role may include:

  • Dealing with a varied caseload of property work to include residential acquisitions, lease renewals and title queries
  • Providing expert advice and supporting the Council on all commercial property matters such as leases, wayleaves, licences, disposals, and lease extensions
  • Representing the Authority’s clients and negotiating with third parties on any commercial property related matters
  • Drafting, amending, and finalising legal documents crucial to a variety of property matters
