Our client is a leading and fast-growing loans company based in North West London. Established 10 years ago, the business is going through a period of strong growth and the client is now looking to add an experienced Loans Underwriter to become part of their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:
* Risk based assessment of new, secured logbook loan applications
* Assessing circumstances of applicants
* Reviewing financial and non-financial documentation provided by applicants
* Assess credit worthiness and affordability
* Identifying any potential fraudulent or illegal activity
* Managing processes relating to various stages of the application process
* Make recommendations to senior members of the team where appropriate

Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in analysing bank statements and other financial documentation
* Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach
* Experience in loan underwriting
* A self starter
* Have strong commercial judgement.
