Reed are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading global financial services specialist, who are seeking a Loan Administrator to join their growing team in Ipswich Town Centre. With a salary of up to £23,000 on offer, applications are welcomed from entry-level candidates who possess strong Microsoft Office skills. Customer Service experience is desired but not essential.

The working hours are:

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

Key Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Understand the terms and conditions of a borrower’s loan so that they may be clearly explained to, and met by, the borrower and to ensure the Deeds received are correct

• Ensure information relating to borrowers and their loans is current and accurately recorded on company’s systems.

• Ensure that borrowers are correctly informed of payments due and that the collection of the required payment is made promptly and accurately.

• Receive and resolve any queries within SLA from clients, borrowers and their advisors in relation to the redemption of the mortgage or the Deeds records.

• Ensure that amendments to borrower’s accounts are made accurately and in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure safe and secure storage of files and deeds at all times.

• Control Deeds and file movements ensuring the location of physical documents is known at all times and correctly recorded on company’s systems.

• Ensure that requests for information are responded to accurately and within SLA’s.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Customer Service experience is desired but not essential.

• Competent using Microsoft Office packages.

• Ability to organise workload to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communicator at all levels - both verbal and written.

• High attention to detail - recording of information must be accurate, factual and professional.

• Ability to work as an effective team member.

• Ability to proactively manage own workload.

• A desire to learn and take on new systems and concepts quickly.

• Empathetic manner - be able to confidently deal with difficult conversations whilst showing empathy and dealing sensitively, but appropriately.

• A can-do attitude with a desire to identify and deliver effective solutions for customers and all clients and stakeholders, both internal and external.
