Job Purpose:

As a Loan Administration Senior Officer (Transactions), you will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of lending, current account, deposit, and corporate FX business. This includes the handling of syndicated and bilateral loan facilities for both UK and overseas corporate customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the team's administration duties, including the preparation and input of system tickets, fee and interest calculations, and reconciliation.
• Liaise with Loan Administration Departments of other banks and colleagues in the Front Office departments.
• Act on instructions from bilateral customers promptly and accurately.
• Prepare and send confirmations, statements, reports, and certificates of balances to customers, following Electronic Communications Policy guidelines.
• Develop a deeper understanding of credit reviews and ratings, repayment schedule maintenance, and other aspects of the department's work.
• Assist with monthly reporting by conducting reconciliations, fee monitoring, and preparation of management reports.
• Mentor and support junior Loan Administration staff on a daily basis.
• Maintain a proactive approach to daily duties, ensuring minimal operational irregularities and promptly reporting any issues.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Loan Administration Head of Department or General Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 'A' level qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of Loan Administration experience.
• Knowledge and experience of formatting Swift messages desired.
• Knowledge and experience of LoanIQ is desired due to ongoing system migration project.
• Advanced Excel and/or Access skills desired but not required.
