Pertemps Dudley are currently seeking an experienced Loader on behalf of our client who is a successful manufacturer in Dudley.  In this role, you will be loading steel products onto Overhead Cranes to help load deliveries. Overhead Crane experience for this role is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading steel products (which could weigh up to 5 tonne)
  • Loading beams onto crane to move to next department
  • Quality inspection
  • Manual handling

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a loader preferably in a fabrication setting 
  • Experience operating overhead crane is preferred
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet production deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members

Hours of work:
Monday – Friday
8am-4.30pm

Pay rate:
£12-13ph
