We are currently recruiting for Live in Lifestyle Assistant on behalf of our client, provide her Health, Social and Personal Care at home in Trowbridge.

Job Title - Personal Assistant

Hours: Live-in (5days on/10 days off)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Trowbridge - BA14

Rate of Pay & Benefits:

Pay: £230 per day (£1,150 per 5-day shift)

Free accommodation when on shift

5.6 weeks’ holiday pro rata

About Our Client

Our client is looking to recruit a team of Personal Assistants to support her at home.

She has a diagnosis of Cerebral palsy, scoliosis and epilepsy which is managed with medication.

Prior care experience is not required, all training will be provided but some experience is preferred.

She is looking for someone, who is comfortable with pets, as she has a dog and a ragdoll kitten. She sometimes

looks after her friends’ parrots, therefore a love for animals is a must! :)

About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in his particular needs is provided.

Requirements for this role are:

-Good communication skills.

-To respect confidentiality and privacy and be sensitive to my needs.

-To understand that dignity and independence are important.

-Able to accept responsibility.

-Be willing to learn and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

-To be flexible in attitude to cover, if necessary, should any emergencies arise - For example - Carers having accidents, illness etc.

-You will have to fit in with the rest of my caring team.

-Hold a full UK driving licence (25 years old + for insurance purposes)

-Have had 2x Covid-19 Vaccination plus Booster.

-A love for animals, as the client has pets

You will be employed directly by our client who is supported by AskJules.
