A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, creative and fast-paced team, as they seek an Events Manager to come on board to develop and deliver their in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings & events. Joining a team that specialize within the Media and Creative Industries, we are seeking passionate candidates who can communicate and liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders and external clients. Duties of the Events Manager to include:

Business Development:

  • Support the implementation and growth of the company’s Live offer.
  • Identify and utilize opportunities within the company by working to raise and improve the team’s profile and offering internally
  • Network to build stronger relationships with directors and advisors
  • Prepare and produce effective proposals and statements of work

Client Management:

  • Manage clients on a day-to-day basis.
  • Develop ongoing relationships to expand work opportunities.
  • Assist clients in determining event solutions.

Project Management:

  • Oversee delivery of meetings & events from concept to archive. This includes in-person, hybrid and virtual events.
  • Ensure events are delivered within budget and scope.
  • Coordinate technical requirements and continually review processes.

Team Management & Resourcing:

  • Lead and manage project teams effectively.
  • Plan and manage project resourcing.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Creative Experience:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of audio-visual production and presentation technology.
  • Integrate a variety of media into events.
  • Stay updated on latest technologies and trends.

Requirements for the successful Events Manager to include:

  • Circa 10 years of proven technical delivery experience in in-person, hybrid, and virtual corporate events, whether in an agency, production company, or client-side role.
  • Thrives in high-pressure live event environments, consistently meeting the highest standards within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational, planning, management, and communication skills, with a track record of effective leadership and team management.
  • A good understanding of audio-visual production technologies across, lighting, video and sound for live meetings and events, as well as an understanding of corporate presentation platform and technologies including media servers web compression technologies Flash/Windows Media and browser compatibilities.
