Linux System Administrator - HPC Networks & Storage (Remote UK)

Innovative Deep Tech Company who are a leading hardware and software technologies provider of high-performance data-centric computing are looking to hire a Professional Services Engineer with deep Linux System Administration understanding/experience. This role, although remote, will require the desired candidate to travel to client sites mainly in and around London.

The role will involve implementation of complex solutions within the client environment as part of a technical team including integration of the solution within customers’ work processes.

You will need to have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems as well as storage and networking solutions. Experience or a keen interest in High Performance Computing (HPC) is preferable. Working knowledge of automation and clusters. Configuration management frameworks - Salt, Ansible etc. Basic Docker experience. LDAP or Active Directory. High throughput networking RDMA, RoCE, NVMeOF, IPoIB. Any experience with GPFS/IBM Spectrum Scale would be highly advantageous. Strong scripting experience - Perl, python, bash, ksh and/or Powershell. Technical writing and technical consulting experience would be preferable.
