Linux Engineer

Linux Engineer – 3 Month contract – London – Outside IR35

My customer requires an experienced Linux Engineer to join an existing team for an initial 3-month engagement.

This Linux Engineer will play a role in upgrade and automation projects within the Linux estate. Automation using Ubuntu Landscape and Ansible as well as defining a build process would be an important skillset to have.

Key responsibilities for the Linux Engineer:

• Prior experience as a Linux Engineer focusing on project work.
• Linux Ubuntu 22.04 Template
• Linux Ubuntu 18.04 upgrade / rebuild.
• Automation projects: Ansible Design and Implementation, Ubuntu landscape.
• Linux Ubuntu server migration to the cloud (AWS and Azure)
• Build process: Bash scripts.
• Linux Centralized User Management
• Improve Security Tools usage in the Linux Estate
• Leverage CIS Workbench Benchmarks
• Any experience on the Windows server estate would be beneficial.

This Linux Engineer is required to be onsite in Central London.

This Linux Engineer role would fall Outside of IR35.
