Exciting Opportunity for Service/Repair Engineer in London!

Are you an experienced Service/Repair Engineer looking for a rewarding role in the heart of London? Our client, a highly regarded and well-established independent lift company based in Bromley, is currently seeking individuals to join their dynamic team!

Position: Service/Repair/Callout/Fault Finding Engineer
Location: London (90% central London)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Start Date: ASAP

About the Company:

Our client, based in Bromley, specialises in Maintenance, New Installations, and Modernisation of lifts. With most of their work centred within the M25.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting servicing, repairs, callouts, and fault finding within the London area, with a focus on central London.

  • Rotating call-out schedule, with one week in three starting Monday 5pm until the following Monday 8am.

Benefits:

  • Stand-by payment of £110 during call-out weeks, in addition to salary.

  • Call-out rates of £70 per call on weekdays, and £90 on weekends & Bank Holidays.

  • Company covers expenses such as Congestion Charge, Fuel, and Parking, all managed via phone.
  • Overtime may be required, with two Saturdays of servicing per month shared among the team

  • 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.

  • Company pension scheme, personal accident & illness cover, and statutory sick pay.

  • Company-provided van for all business-related use (full clean licence required).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 with experience in servicing lifts

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
