Job Role: Lift Repair Supervisor

Location: Wimborne, Dorset

Salary: £47,000-£52,000 DOE

Hours: 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Interaction Technical have partnered with the UKs largest independent Escalator, Lift and Cradle maintenance provider on their search for a Lift Repair & Modernisation Supervisor to join their growing team based at their Wimborne depot. The package:

· Salary of between £47,000-£52,000 dependent of experience

· 33 days inclusive of bank holidays

The Duties:

· Lead and supervise a team of repair engineers to ensure that all small and large repairs and refurbishments are carried out correctly, with all documentation and administrative requirements completed to ensure sign off

· Manage the budget of the team, ensuring that excess is available to grow the team in future

· Liaise with various departments using effective communication to ensure all teams are working together and towards the same goal

· Attend and carry out meetings both with your team and with other stakeholders within the company where required

· Carry out performance reviews with your team, mentoring less experienced lift engineers to help them improve their skills and develop their career

· Grow the team, leading the recruitment process where required to add to the repair team

· Ensure all compliance and health and safety procedures are adhered to by both your team and yourself

The Requirements:

· Previous experience surrounding lift repair and refurbishment (essential)

· Must hold an interest in developing the repair team (essential)

· Previous experience surrounding both major and minor repairs to lifting systems (essential)

· Previous experience in a supervisory position within the lift repair and refurbishment industry (advantageous)

· Relevant qualifications within the Lift Industry, NVQs/C&G etc (advantageous)

· Full UK Driving License required
