Lift Engineer

Field Service Lift Engineer required. My client is an established provider of lifts to customers across the UK. The ideal candidate must have relevant qualifications and experience on repairs, service and modernization. Due to continued growth and success, they are currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineers to be based in Oldham, responsible for attending customer sites in and around the Manchester area.

Driving license required for this role.

Lift Engineer - Lifts Position Overview

• Attend customer sites to attend breakdowns and undertake planned servicing, repairs and modernization
• Installing new control panels
• Provide technical support and advice to customers and other Field Service Engineers to maximise the first-time fix rate
• Undertake refurbishment, installation and replacement of lifts in a range of locations including commercial offices, shopping centres and private establishments
• Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company

Lift Engineer - Lifts Position Requirements

• NVQ3 or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
• Previous experience within a Lift Service/ Repair / Modernization position
• Relevant qualifications for the position e.g., NVQ Level 3 or Above
• Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers and management
• Self-motivated, reliable and organised
• Full (clean) UK driving licence and prepared to travel with the role
• Based within a commutable distance of Oldham

Lift Engineer - Lifts Position Remuneration

• £40,000 salary DOE
• 39 Hours a week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-4:30. Friday 8:00-3:30)
• 33 days holiday inclusive on bank holiday
• Overtime available
• Company vehicle
• On call rota
• Pension
