  • Working from a home base you will be supporting valued clients in proactively handling and settling a technically complex caseload of third party Liability claims, typically of high value.
  • Your portfolio of work will consist of a mixture of more complex employers' liability, public liability and potentially products liability, mainly on a cradle to grave basis.

About you:

  • Seeking an experienced Liability Adjuster accustomed to handling EL /PL claims (injury and third-party property damage).
  • Ideally CILA qualified or LLB, however candidates who are qualified by experience are just as welcome to apply, but we do seek candidates with commitment to achieve their personal qualifications

Additionally, you will have/be:

  • Proven ability to handle an extensive and technically complex range of EL / PL and Product liability claims including claims involving third party property damage.
  • Extensive experience of writing investigation reports
  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance market
  • Extensive technical knowledge within the adjusting arena
  • Understanding of client SLA compliance/productivity/quality requirements
  • Proven proficient working knowledge of scoping software and hand held device use.
  • Good negotiation skills - for arranging appointments when required, alternative accommodation and explaining information when there is pushback on settlement
  • To understand what matter to the customer and to put this first - putting yourself in their shoes
  • Good IT skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Flexibility in travelling
