A Specialist liability adjusting practice seeks to strengthen its adjusting network through the appointment of an additional liability desk-adjuster/claims handler to work from their West Yorkshire base.

  • The role will be a technical hands-on role where you handle a very varied mixed portfolio of EL and PL claims including third-party property damage risks.
  • You will work with a variety of clients and a wide range of industries including, Construction, Engineering and Lloyd’s of London; no day will be the same.
  • The role will also involve charging for time, training will be provided if this is something you haven't done previously.
  • There are genuine opportunities to progress and develop due to future expansion of the business, there will also be the opportunity to progress to a field adjuster role should this be something you would like to pursue.

About you:

  • An experienced Liability Claims handler/Adjuster.
  • A background working for a Loss Adjusting practice in a similar role or for an Insurer within a Liability Claims team or working within the Legal field managing Liability claims.
  • Experienced at managing your own caseload of EL/PL losses with a hands-on approach and within a technical capacity.
  • Happy to work in an office environment on a hybrid basis.
  • Industry qualifications preferred or a desire to work towards.
