My well known distribution client are looking for Class 1 Drivers for night shift. Regular ongoing or ad hoc work out of their Tuxford depot.
The work is collecting from their clients, strapping loads down and delivering to their other locations in the South East and South West of the UK pulling a curtain sided trailer.
Fantastic friendly working environment.
They have just taken delivery of a full fleet of brand new trucks with all up to date technology and equipment.
Trucks are fitted with internal and external cameras for your safety as well as up to date sat nav technology.
Night shift starts from 4pm-4am
Five day working week over a 7 day period or ad hoc to suit.
The ability to be flexible is key to this role.
Long term work always booked at least one week in advance.
Fantastic induction and training period which is fully paid.
Average shifts are generally around 12-15 hours.
Temp to perm opportunities could be available.
You will need:
-Held Class 1 licence for at least 1 year
-Minimum of continuous driving for the past 6 months
-A valid DCPC
-A valid Tacho Card
- Maximum 6 points
Monday to Friday night rate £17.53 per hour
Saturday night rate £26.30 per hour
Sunday/Bank Holiday night rate £35.06 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Salary: £17.53-£35.06 per hour

Please note that the induction is one week long from Monday to Friday and is carried out at night and is fully paid.
The induction consists of driving assessment, on line theory test consisting of hazard perception, hughway code and driver hours and break times.
