You will be working for an outstanding nursery in Coventry, which is easily accessible on a public transport route. This is a fantastic nursery which is made up of a friendly and qualified staff team. The nursery caters for children from the ages of birth through to pre-school.
Your new role
This nursery is looking to appoint a Level 6 Nursery Practitioner immediately on a full-time basis. You will be working 40 hours a week and the hours can either be fixed or on a shift basis. You will be responsible for leading groups of children, carrying out planning and observations, be a key worker to a select number of children and also be leading a small team of staff. This job would suit anyone who is looking for a step-up in their career, a room leader or a third in charge. The nursery offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a level 6 qualification in childcare (or equivalent). You will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who puts children at the heart of their work. You will be a positive role model to staff and children. You will need to have experience of leading a small team and be a confident communicator. You will be experienced in completing observations, planning, preparation and be able to record and implement the curriculum appropriately. Above all, you must have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and have recent experience working in a childcare setting.
