Location: Seacroft, Leeds

Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Start Date: Ideally starting from April 22, 2034

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing excellent care and education to children aged 0-5 years, supporting their development and ensuring a safe and enriching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences to support children's learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for development and providing tailored support.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and achievements, following regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, following safeguarding procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years, either as a newly qualified practitioner or with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards early years education, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
  • DBS on the update service .
