Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Hours: 26.5 per week (term time plus 1 week)

Salary: G3 SCP 3-5 pro rata (£11.79 - £12.18 per hour dependant on experience)

Start Date: ASAP

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified or experienced teaching assistant to work within an Inclusion Faculty in a secondary school in Wigan. The school has a long standing reputation for providing high quality provision for its SEND students. Working within their Inclusion faculty is a rewarding and enjoyable role as you contribute to positive outcomes for their young adults every day. The school is proud of its commitment to staff development, with many of their teaching assistants going on to fulfil Advanced Level Teaching Assistant or Leadership roles within the faculty. Regular professional development is provided for colleagues.

The school is a high performing 11-16 mixed comprehensive school situated close to the M6 motorway. They are seeking an honest, reliable and well-motivated individual to join our highly successful Inclusion team to help us maintain our excellent standards.

Hours 08:30 3:30

The Minimum Rate of Pay GBP £85 per day.

Team Teach training would be beneficial to this role, however this can be provided for free.

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional related references
